Stitch marker update: Plum Love

These are some gorgeous little glass beads I found recently and they are definitely some of my favourites for making stitch markers with now. They are currently available in a deep plum color, and shortly I’ll be adding in silver, cherry, and turquoise!

Stitch markers : Plum Love

Six gorgeous little stitch markers made from 8mm glass cube beads, with antique silver stars on either end, and thin durable wire, allowing them to slide effortlessly along your needles.

The rich plum color is in a high metallic lustre which gives a beautiful glossy shine.

Total length per marker: 3.5cm (1.37″)

Another shop update : Stardust stitch markers

I had time to put together a few more sets of stitch markers today. I really love the new stardust beads I found, the colour changes over the beads making each one slightly different and the way the colours blend together is beautiful.

I also had some acrylic stars I put together into two different sets of four.

New Pattern: Skinny Fit Mitts

I have just released my latest knitting pattern, Skinny Fit Mitts!

Skinny Fit Mitts - by Andrea Black

I had tried a few other mitten patterns and it always seemed they were a bit big and floppy. Not that they fit incorrectly, or were too big a size, the shape just didn’t feel right on my hands. And so the idea of Skinny Fit Mitts was born.

I’ve made the pattern available free through Ravelry, which if you are a knitter and don’t already have an account with them I’d say it is well worth your while to do so, and it’s free to sign up!

Although you can download the pattern for free and be on your way I would really love to see the finished mitts you make with this pattern. I love seeing people create things using the patterns I’ve made. Ideally, if you have the time, I’d love to see you add your project to Ravelry .

Any questions you have about the pattern, or even how to link your project through Ravelry, please feel free to contact me. 🙂
